Guest Speakers: Dr. Wilson & Pam Benton
Dr. Wilson Benton has served as the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church and Covenant Presbyterian in Cleveland, Mississippi; Pastor Emeritus of the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri, having served there as Senior Pastor for 21 years. Since July 2007, he has been serving as Senior Pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
He received his BA and BD degrees from Belhaven College and Columbia Seminary, and his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from the University of Edinburgh.
Pam received her BA from Belhaven College and her MA in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. She has been a pastor's wife for over 20 years, and has served on the Women's Advisory Sub-committee for 6 years. (This body has oversight for the national PCA women's ministry.) She's a bible teacher, retreat and conference speaker, homemaker, shopper, and "lunch-eater." She loves playing with grandchildren, being a pastor's wife, hanging out with her children, lunching with friends, traveleing and speaking with Wilson, and sharing life with seminary wives.
Dr. Benton and his wife, Pam, are parents of Louis and Damea Benton, Paige and Reagan Brown, Laura and John Pearson. They are proud grandparents of six grandsons: Wilson, Jackson, Barnes & Ford Benton, Maxwell Pearson, and Benton Brown; and three granddaughters: Marion and Libby Pearson and Louisa Brown.
